In UP’s Etah district, after an argument with his wife, a drunken man committed suicide by hanging himself to his wife by making a video call. The wife kept crying on the video call and stopped her husband not to commit suicide. But the husband didn’t listen. The husband hanged himself in front of his wife. After the husband’s suicide, the distraught wife reached the police station with the mobile and told the police about the whole incident. After this, while tracing the location of the husband’s mobile, the police reached the spot, where the dead body of the young man was found hanging from the tree. The police took the dead body into custody and got its post-mortem done. It was told that the deceased youth was the only son of his parents and he has three sisters. Since the death of the young man, mourning has spread in the house.

According to ASP Etah Dhananjay Kushwaha, the Kotwali Nagar police had received information on Monday evening that Shyamsundar had committed suicide. His wife had come to the police station. She had told that husband Shyamsundar had made a video call to me and committed suicide in front of me. Also, the wife had said that she had a fight with her husband. After this the husband had gone out of the house. The wife also showed the mobile to the police. After this, while tracing the location of Shyamsundar’s phone, the police team reached the bushes in front of Saraswati Shishu Mandir on GT Road. On searching, it was found that Shyamsundar was hanging on the tree. It was from here that he made a video call to his wife before committing suicide. ASP Etah Dhananjay Kushwaha further said that the body has been handed over to the family after the post-mortem.
Police has registered the case and started investigation. In the investigation of the police, it has also come to light that Shyamsundar used to drink alcohol. He had consumed alcohol even at the time of suicide. He was married only a few years ago.
