In Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday, a mother hacked her four-month-old child to death with a shovel. SO Gosaiganj said that the woman who killed her child in front of the black statue in Dhanaudih village has been taken into custody. During interrogation, the woman told that she was running ill. Three days ago, the Mother Goddess had come in a dream. He had said that everything will be fine if you sacrifice your son, so we killed him.

Shivkumar, father of four-month-old Pritam, works as a laborer in Kanpur. He came home yesterday after being informed about his son’s death. On Monday morning, when the entire area was shrouded in fog, Shivkumar went to the village cemetery to bury the body of his son Pritam. He buried the son in the soil with trembling hands. Meanwhile, hundreds of people of the village were also present with him.

How did the woman kill her son

In Dhanaudih village on Sunday, Manju Devi (35) wife Shivkumar killed her 4-month-old child Pritam by cutting it with a shovel in front of the black statue at around 9 am. According to the local people, Manju used to come to the statue every day for five days. That’s why it seemed that she must be worshiping the idol. But she left the son lying there and went home and when she returned, she had a shovel in her hand. Before we could understand anything, he attacked the son’s head and he died screaming.

Head injury found at post mortem

According to SO Gosaiganj Raghavendra Rawat, the woman is mentally deranged, due to which she took such a step. In the postmortem, a mark of injury has been found on Pritam’s head. He has died from excessive bleeding. Gosaiganj Kotwal Raghavendra Rawat told that the last rites of the child have been done. The accused mother has been sent to jail on the orders of the court. The action of deliberation is being ensured. Strict legal action will be ensured in the whole matter.
