So far 863 houses have cracks in Joshimath, CM Dhami reviewed the situation in Joshimath

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has held a review meeting regarding cracks and landslides in Joshimath. During this, the present situation of Joshimath was reviewed. In the review meeting, Chief Minister Dhami has given instructions to work fast on the plan ahead as soon as the reports of all the technical institutions and scientists are received regarding the reasons for the land subsidence in Joshimath.
Uttarakhand Chief Secretary SS Sandhu, Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi and Disaster Management Secretary Ranjit Sinha were present in the meeting held at the secretariat. Let us tell you that providing all possible help to the Joshimath disaster affected is the top priority of the state government at this time. This is the reason that on the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, concrete arrangements have been made for the living and food of the affected people. Apart from hotels, arrangements have been made for the members of the disaster-affected families to stay in relief camps.
Adequate arrangements have been made for heaters, blowers to protect from cold. According to the information, heaters and blowers have been provided to 120 families. Apart from this, the hotel’s heater-blower is available for those who are staying in the hotel. 1082 liters of milk, electric kettle to 105 people, thermal wear to 110 people, hot water bottle to 175 people, caps to 592 people, socks to 280 people, shawls to 213 people have been distributed.
According to the Chamoli district administration, so far 863 buildings have been identified due to landslides in Joshimath town area, in which cracks have been found. Out of this, 181 buildings are in the unsafe zone. Apart from this, 925 members of 275 affected families have been lodged in relief camps. Basic facilities like food, drinking water, medicine etc. are being provided in the relief camps. So far health check-up of 826 persons has been done in the relief camps.
