Chief Secretary SS Sandhu gave instructions, ACR of all personnel of Uttarakhand will be online
Uttarakhand Chief Secretary SS Sandhu held a review meeting with the government and departmental officials at the secretariat on Monday. During this, there was a lot of discussion on the work of officers and employees. In the meeting, the Chief Secretary gave instructions regarding making the ACR (Annual Confidential Report) of all the employees of the state online.
The Chief Secretary said that non-availability of ACR (Annual Confidential Report) has been a major reason for the promotion of state employees. Personnel doing good work are also deprived of promotion due to non-availability of ACR or for any other reason, due to which it is natural to get frustrated and this also affects the work efficiency.
He said that this problem can be avoided by making the ACR process online. The Chief Secretary has instructed all the departments to make the ACR of their personnel online. Also said that this year’s ACR should be done online only. Apart from this, it should also be ensured that the old ACRs are scanned and uploaded. By the way, the ACR of the personnel has been in discussions earlier also. However, this time the Chief Secretary has given some new instructions regarding ACR, so that transparency remains on ACR.
