A unique case has come to light in Mumbai. Here the police have caught the absconding thug posing as LIC agent for 16 years. The accused has been identified as Praveen Ashubha Jadeja alias Pravin Singh alias Pradeep Singh Ashubha Jadeja. Interestingly, for Praveen, his bright teeth became a problem. When the police reached him posing as LIC agents and talking, he laughed. Then his two gold teeth were visible and the police caught him. This whole matter is of RAK Marg Police Station. Police Inspector Crime Leeladhar Patil said that Jadeja was arrested by Assistant Police Inspector Mahesh Lamkhade and his team.
Ran away with 40 thousand rupees in 2007
Leeladhar Patil told that 37-year-old Praveen was a salesman in 2007. He used to work at a clothes shop in Parel. On July 28, 2007, the shop owner gave him Rs 40,000 to give to another businessman. But Praveen’s intention got spoiled on money. He hid the bag full of money in the house and made up a false theft story in front of the owner. He told that he had a toilet on the way, he went to the toilet. where his bag was stolen. The shop owner lodged a complaint against Praveen. When the police investigated, the matter came to light. Praveen was arrested. But after getting bail three days later, he absconded. Since then the police was looking for him.

According to the police, Praveen had hidden his identity. He was living under new names. He made his base from Mumbai to Kutch in Gujarat. On the information of the informer, the police laid a trap to catch Praveen. Praveen was called to Mumbai by the police posing as an LIC agent. He was told that one of his LIC policies has matured. But have to come to Mumbai to get the money. Praveen got greedy for money. As soon as he came to Mumbai, the police team nabbed him.
