Uttarakhand: Budget session will be held in Gairsain from March 13 to 18

The budget session will be held from March 13 to 18 in the Vidhansabha located at Bharadisain in the summer capital Gairsain. This decision was taken in the cabinet. After the Kovid period, the government had conducted a budget session in Gairsain in March 2021. Due to the assembly elections in 2022, the budget session could not be held there. After the formation of the new government, the budget session was held in Dehradun assembly in June 2022. The government had also cited Chardham Yatra as the reason behind not holding the budget session in Gairsain. The opposition criticized the government for not holding the budget session in Gairsain. After this, in December 2022, the winter session also took place in Dehradun. Now the government has decided to hold the budget session in Gairsain. On the first day there will be an address by the Governor.

We are fully prepared for the budget session in Gairsain. The government has decided to run the budget session for six days. This time also the session will run smoothly in Gairsain.
