Uttarakhand: Chardham Yatra preparations in full swing, tomorrow CM Dhami will review work plans of all departments

On Friday, February 17, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will review the work plans of all departments regarding the preparations for the Chardham Yatra. CM will take stock of the preparations for the last phase regarding Chardham Yatra. This time Chardham Yatra is starting early in Uttarakhand as compared to previous years. Therefore, all the stakeholder government departments and agencies related to Chardham Yatra have started their work.

Chardham Yatra 2023 preparations review meeting

In the last season, the devotees had destroyed the records of the last several years regarding the Chardham Yatra. Therefore, the Government of Uttarakhand and all the stakeholders associated with the Chardham Yatra are very excited about the Chardham Yatra this time. This is the reason why the Badri Kedar Temple Committee has also started preparations for its last phase. Chairman of Badri Kedar Mandir Committee, Ajendra Ajay informed that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had already given guidelines to all concerned departments and agencies regarding the preparations for the Chardham Yatra. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will review the preparations for the last phase and the comprehensive action plan on February 17.

Many horse mules died in Kedarnath Yatra of 2022

In the last travel season, the government administration had to face a lot of criticism regarding health services. Guidelines have been given by the government administration to take utmost precaution this time regarding uncontrolled deaths of horses and mules engaged in the journey and deteriorating health of passengers at high altitude. This is the reason why the Health Department is also constantly engaged in preparations to keep all the arrangements in check during the Chardham Yatra.

Chardham Yatra is starting from 22nd April

Chardham Yatra 2023 is starting from 22 April. On April 22, the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri shrines will open for devotees. Both these dhams are situated in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The doors of Badrinath Dham will open on 27 April. Badrinath Dham is situated in Chamoli district. The date of opening of the doors of Kedarnath Temple will be declared on Mahashivaratri. However, the possible date of opening of the doors of Kedarnath Dham may be 26 April.
