Uttar Pradesh: KDA achieved a big victory: on the order of the High Court, the land worth 20 crores got possession after 11 years
KDA has achieved another major victory over the illegal occupation of its land. KDA has won land worth 20 crores stuck for 11 years in Jawaharpuram housing scheme. While the High Court has canceled the stay order regarding this land, it has also rejected the petition.
Development was halted due to stay
The writ petition (53996/2012) Kailash Prasad Tiwari Vs State of UP was filed relating to Arazi No. 1356, 1723, 1112, 1104, 1163 of Village Bara-Sirohi. Since then 5758.8 square meters of land was stuck. Due to the stay, the development in the scheme was also stuck. High Court advocate Abhinav Krishna Srivastava strongly advocated in this matter on behalf of KDA.
Decision came in favor of KDA
The land belongs to urban ceiling which was vested in KDA, but due to stay, work was not being done even in some non-dispute plots. The documents and evidence were produced in the High Court on the instructions of the KDA Vice President. It has been decided in favor of KDA.
Buying and selling of land on wrong grounds
OSD Sat Shukla told that KDA has recently won the case of four lands in the High Court. There is continuous churning on such plots which have been encroached upon by the land mafia. They are buying and selling land on false grounds.
