Uttarakhand: CM Dhami reviewed the functioning of all the assemblies of Garhwal Lok Sabha, “Officers will be responsible for delay in implementation of schemes”

Special attention should be paid to the development of mountainous regions of the state for the overall development of the state. The public problems in their areas are being kept by the MLAs, the officers should take them seriously and resolve them soon. Instead of imposing the department tasks on each other, focus on their disposal. Departmental officers find solutions to problems with mutual coordination. Different rosters of long term and short-term schemes should be made. Public problems that can be resolved quickly should be completed quickly. On Friday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave the above instructions to the officials while reviewing the developmental works conducted in the Chief Minister’s residence on Friday during the review of developmental works conducted in the constituency Tharali, Karnprayag, Kedarnath, Rudraprayag, Devprayag, Yamkeshwar, Srinagar, Chaubatkhal, Narendranagar, Pauri, Lansdow and Ramnagar. The Chief Minister directed that the responsibility of the officers should be fixed for late in fulfilling the announcements made by the Chief Minister. All works should be completed within the stipulated time period. No dysfunction towards the works will be tolerated. He said that the list should be made in one place for the officers who have been frozen in one place for 05 years or more. He said that whatever proposals come for various announcements in the assembly constituencies by the public representatives, they should be first tested. It should also be clarified how long this announcement will be completed. He said that a new work culture has to be implemented in the state. For early solution to public problems, officers should work by extending communication gap and work by increasing mutual coordination.
The Chief Minister instructed the officials that the public problems of their assembly constituencies have been kept in the meeting by the MLAs, taking them in priority and resolving them as soon as possible. Water life mission works should be further accelerated. Under the prescribed process, a meeting of Revenue Department and Social Welfare Department should be held under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary to convert Tongia villages into revenue villages. The announcements made for promoting tourism in the mountainous districts of the state, health facilities and other basic facilities have been completed within the stipulated time.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister was informed about the construction and improvement of roads by the MLAs, the work -control of canals, strengthening of sewerage and drainage system, development of tourist places and other problems of assembly constituencies. The Chief Minister said that whatever public problems have been kept by the MLAs, every possible solution will be given to them.
