Historical Shri Jhande ji’s ascension took place on Sunday at Darbar Sahib in Dehradun. The process of taking down the old flag started at seven in the morning. Shri Jhandeji’s ascension process went on between two o’clock and four o’clock in the afternoon under the leadership of Mahant Devendra Das Maharaj, Sajjadanshin of Darbar Sahib. After which the flag hoisting took place at 4.10 pm. During this, the whole Darbar Sahib echoed with the Jai Jaikaar of the Sangat.

Sansar Singh of Punjab offered Darshani Gilaf

This time the family of Punjab got the opportunity to offer Darshani Gilaf on Shri Jhandeji. For the happiness and prosperity of the family, Sansar Singh had asked for a vow 30 years ago to offer a cover to Shri Jhandeji. Sansar Singh is currently in America with his daughter. When he came to know that this time his family’s number has come to cover him, then his happiness knew no bounds. He saw the live telecast of the flag hoisting from America itself.

City parikrama will be taken out on March 14

Under the leadership of Mahant Devendra Das Maharaj, historical city circumambulation will be taken out on March 14. The city tour will start at 7:30 am. More than 25 thousand companions will be involved in this. Nagar Parikrama will reach Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School, Bindal via Saharanpur Chowk, Kanwali Road. Here Prasad of gram, puffed rice and jaggery will be distributed to the Sangat. From here via Tilak Road, Tagore-Villa, Ghantaghar, Paltan Bazar it will reach Luckhibagh Police Chowki to Reetha Mandi, Sri Guru Ram Rai Public School Bombay Bagh. After this, after paying obeisance at the tomb of Brahmalin Shrimahant Sahiban, the city circumambulation will be completed by reaching Shri Darbar Sahib at 12 noon via Saharanpur Chowk.

151 units of blood collected in the camp

Voluntary blood donation camp was organized in collaboration with Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital’s Blood Bank and Mahakal Seva Samiti. 151 units of blood were donated in this. Sangats and members of Shri Mahakal Seva Samiti, residents of the area took part in the camp. Chairman of the committee Roshan Rana told that this was the 13th successful blood donation camp of the committee.
