Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri had reached Gairsain last day as part of the preparations for the session. Since Sunday morning, DGP Ashok Kumar, DM Himanshu Khurana and after him. President Khanduri have reviewed the preparations and security arrangements for the Silsilwar Vid session. It has been a common practice that the Governor reaches Gairsain in the morning on the day of the budget session itself.

But, Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Senior) came to Gairsain on Sunday afternoon itself. In the afternoon, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami also took charge. It may be known that after the budget session in the year 2021, due to Corona and political changes, the budget session could not be organized in Gairsain for two years. This time there has been a special focus on security in the preparations for the session.

Minister should come in the House with full preparation

In the meeting of the BJP Legislature Party, all the ministers of the Uttarakhand Government were instructed to come to the House with complete preparation. Along with this, the ministers have also been asked to be ready for supplementary questions to be asked by the legislators during the question hour. The BJP Legislature Party meeting was held in Gairsain on Sunday late evening. During this, the ministers were asked to come to the House with full preparation while the MLAs were asked to keep 100 percent attendance.

Everyone has been asked to be present in the house, especially during the presentation and passing of the budget and bills. Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Premchand Agarwal, Cabinet Ministers Satpal Maharaj, Ganesh Joshi, Subodh Uniyal, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Chandan Ramdas, Saurabh Bahuguna, BJP State President Mr. Mahendra Bhatt and most of the MLAs were present in the Legislature Party meeting.

Message of women empowerment from Gairsain Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri has given the message of women empowerment from summer capital Gairsain. For the first time local cuisine has been arranged for the Minister, MLA and others. The special thing is that women self- help groups have been selected for this. This is the first time that women are also contributing in the food arrangements in the summer capital.

Governor Gurmeet Singh appreciated the decision of selecting women self- help groups for food arrangements in the Vidhansabha. He said that women are doing good work in the country and the state through their groups. He said that this effort will help in making women self- reliant.

After reaching Gairsain on Sunday, Governor Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Gurmeet Singh inspected the Vidhan Sabha premises along with Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri. During this, the Governor and the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly inspected the assembly premises as well as various chambers. Governor Gurmeet Singh expressed satisfaction over the preparations of the Vidhan Sabha and appreciated the efforts of the Speaker.

The security of the session will be on every corner of the police. During the session, the entire assembly constituency has been divided into four zones and seven sectors. Four additional SPs and 13 COs have been deployed. Along with this, 25 Inspectors, 60 SIs, 140 ASIs, 250 Constables, five Company PACs have also been appointed.

Clouds rained in Gairsain before the budget

A day before the budget session, the weather changed its course in Gairsain. Heavy rain and hailstorm in the evening threw life out of gear in Bharadisain and Gairsain. Due to the rain, a significant drop in temperature is also being recorded. There was bright sunshine in Gairsain since morning. The weather started changing from half past one in the afternoon. After a light drizzle, the rain had stopped for some time.
