A shocking case has come to light from Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh. A person’s minor daughter had gone missing here. Later the police arrested the father and son accusing them of killing the girl. Now the daughter who was said to have been murdered has come back to her home alive and now she has become an adult. The girl says that she had gone away in anger with her family members and now lives in Ujjain. Father and brother have been implicated by the police on false charges. In the case, the girl’s father came home after serving one year in jail, but her brother has been in jail for years. The girl who returned home has made serious allegations against the police. He says that father and brother were sent to jail on charges of murder by telling the skeleton of which dead body as mine.
The minor had gone missing in the year 2014
Actually, the matter is of Singodi outpost of Amarwada police station area. In the year 2014, the 15-year-old daughter of Shannu Uike (shepherd), a resident of Jopanala village of Singodi Chowki area, suddenly disappeared from the house. Shannu Uike searched a lot for her daughter after she went missing, but she was not found. Later, a missing report of Kanchan was lodged at Singodi Chowki. Seven years after the disappearance, the police had got the excavation done near Shannu Uike’s house. In its report presented in the court, the police had said that on June 13, 2014, the minor’s brother Sonu killed the minor with a stick and then buried him along with his father. During the excavation the skeleton has been recovered and bracelets have been found. During the hearing, the father-son had also confessed to the murder of the minor. After this both were sent to jail on the orders of the court. After about a year the father came out on bail, but son Sonu is still in jail.
Kanchan, who was told dead, turned out to be alive
The minor daughter who was declared dead by the police has returned to her home alive. She is now an adult and she is also married. She currently lives in Ujjain. When she reached her home after years, there was an uproar in the village. At the same time, when the parents saw their daughter alive, tears of joy started flowing from their eyes. At the same time, Kanchan also became emotional after coming near the family. A crowd of villagers gathered at his house.
Reached the police station and said – ‘I am alive’
The girl along with her family and villagers reached the Singodi police post. The girl told the present outpost in-charge Dharmendra Kushram that when she was 15 years old, she had left home on her own free will. He is an adult and he is married. Currently lives in Ujjain. The woman further said that the police had falsely implicated her father and brother in her murder. Brother has been in jail for three years in a false murder case. Accusing the girl, she said that she did not know which skeleton she had declared her father and brother guilty of murder. He is alive. The family members and the villagers have recognized him. The policemen have made the father-brother confess about the murder under pressure.
Father said- ‘The inspector had asked for two lakh rupees’
On the other hand, Shannu Uike, the girl’s father, told that after the disappearance of the daughter, the then sub-inspector had blamed us for her murder. The inspector had demanded two lakh rupees to end the case. We had also called the 121 helpline. But, help did not come, then me and my son were sent to jail. I am out on bail, but my son is in jail.

In the case, ASP Sanjeev Uike says that in the year 2014, a case of 363 had come to the fore in Amarwada police station. The minor had gone missing from home. The then investigating officer had said in his report about the murder of the minor in the year 2021 and the father-brother was sent to jail on charges of murder. He further said that now the matter of the same girl being alive has come to the fore. Investigation is being done in the matter. We will take court action in this. DNA will be matched. Further action will be taken after the report comes out.
