E-Sakhi will solve the problem of cattle herders, Dhami said – Uttarakhand became the third state in A-HELP
The program was organized by the Animal Husbandry Department regarding the implementation of the A HELP scheme funded by the Government of India. Under this scheme, women power will be trained by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Rural Development. The number of animal herders is very high in the hilly areas of the state. In such a situation, better facilities can be made available to the cattle herders. Especially the problems related to the treatment of animals and the problems of health tests should be removed. Keeping this in view, this scheme has been started. Explain that under the funded A HELP (Accredited Agent for Health And Extension of Livestock Production) scheme, the state government has selected many women groups. Those who will be given training by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Rural Development that how to vaccinate the animals? Also how to test them. Also how are they insured? All the information about all these is being given. Which has been named as E Sakhi. In such a situation, the state government hopes that this scheme will not only benefit the cattle herders. Rather, women power will also be able to get employment.
Animal Husbandry Minister Saurabh Bahuguna told that in this training will be given to the mother powers by linking them with Animal Husbandry Department and Rural Development Department. Under which women will be given training for vaccination, insurance. After completion of their training, they will be sent to those areas. Where there is no Veterinary Officer, he will be sent there. Due to which the animal parents will get benefit as well as employment will be given to the maternal powers.
At the same time, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami told that the E-Sakhi training program has been started. Uttarakhand has become the third state in the country to start this scheme. E Sakhi will work by making coordination between the government and the cattle rearers. Due to which, along with removing the problems related to health, the work of health test will also be done through e Sakhi. Due to which the cattle rearers will get a lot of convenience and will also get other benefits.
