Defending champions Gujarat Titans registered a hat-trick of wins against Lucknow Supergiants in the Indian Premier League. The team won the thrilling match by 7 runs. Both the teams were face to face for the third time.

Batting first after winning the toss, Gujarat scored 135 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs at the Bharat Ratna Atal Vihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. In reply, the Lucknow batsmen could manage only 128 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Day 2 match will be played between Mumbai and Punjab at Wankhede Stadium.
