On the occasion of book release, Harish Rawat said that he is grateful to Jagatguru Shankaracharya and all the people who expressed their affection. On the mention of Govind Ballabh Pant in the book, Harish Rawat said that this is a historical event, because, when it came to the division of Uttar Pradesh, Govind Ballabh Pant had told Nehru that this huge body of mine is Uttar Pradesh. It should not be divided, then during the tenure of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, when the matter of making Uttarakhand a union territory came to the fore, ND Tiwari had repeated the same thing giving the example of Govind Ballabh Pant.

Page number 351 of the book Harish Rawat has mentioned that on his proposal the then PM PV Narasimha Rao agreed to make Uttarakhand a Union Territory. For this the leaders of Uttarakhand were called.
