He said that after the murder of Ankita, we have taken immediate action and the criminals are behind bars. Along with this, he also assured to expedite the case in the fast track court. Let us tell you that Ankita Bhandari’s family was not ready to perform the last rites, after which after the appeal of CM Dhami, they agreed for the last rites. CM Dhami gave this assurance
Talking to news agency ANI, CM Dhami said that after the murder of Ankita, we have taken immediate action and the culprit is behind bars. We are probing the matter from every angle. At the same time, he further said that we will also try to expedite the case in the fast track court. The last rites were performed after the appeal of CM Dhami
Earlier, after the assurance of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Ankita Bhandari’s family had agreed to perform the last rites. After which Ankita Bhandari’s last rites were performed at NIT Ghat. CM Dhami has said that he has accepted the demand of the family. However, earlier Ankita’s family members had refused to perform her last rites before receiving the postmortem report. Ankita’s father was not satisfied with the primary report of AIIMS. In the primary report of AIIMS, it was said that the death was due to drowning in water. Seeing the displeasure of the family, CM Dhami appealed to them to perform the last rites of the daughter. CM Dhami told the family that he has accepted all their demands. He said that the matter will be heard in the fast track court. He has also written a letter to the Chief Justice of the state for a fast track court.
