Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the National Homoeopathic Conference ‘Homeocon-2023’ at Doon University, Dehradun on Sunday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister launched a documentary on homeopathy. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also honored the doctors who have done commendable work in the field of homeopathy. Recalling the father of homeopathy, Samuel Christian Hahnemann, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that he developed such a treatment method in the form of homeopathy, which was very effective as well as economical. He said that the body is the only means to fulfill all the duties. It is the first duty of man to protect the body and keep it healthy. If a man is healthy, he can do everything in life. With lifestyles changing rapidly, it has become all the more necessary that we take care of our bodies as much as possible.
The Chief Minister said that due to the untiring efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today all the ancient Indian systems of medicine, including Yoga, Ayurveda and Homeopathy, are regaining their lost glory. Whether it is the formation of the Ministry of AYUSH or the organization of International Yoga Day. Due to the vision of the Prime Minister, today people are adopting the traditional system of medicine. In order to promote the traditional medical system in India, the Prime Minister formed a separate Ministry of AYUSH in the year 2014. The state government is trying to bring Ayush medicine in the mainstream in the state.
The Chief Minister said that homeopathy has been considered as the second largest prevailing medical practice by the World Health Organization. We have seen the importance of traditional medicine, including the medicines of homeopathy in Corona period, after which acceptability is large in the world of homeopathy. Due to these pleasant results, the homeopathy has got place as a major medical practice in the new health policy. The State Government is conferred to establish Devbhoomi as an important AYUSH region. He said that the importance of homeopathy medical method increases due to the AYUSH and especially affordable and effective in the state of heterogeneous geographical situation like Uttarakhand. He hoped that there will be more speed in the development of homeopathy from discussions and thinking in this workshop. Union Minister of State Ashwini Kumar Choubey said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dham in Uttarakhand, the state has worked fast forward to homeopathy and AYUSH. He said that homeopathy is an effective remedy for the diagnosis of the complicated diseases. Devbhoomi has been inspiring Uttarakhand AYUSH. Homeopathy has been our traditional medical practice. There should be greater research on homeopathy. He said that in the field of Ayush and Yoga, there is a different identity on the global level. They have to promote more and more.
On this occasion, Secretary Ayush and AYUSH Education Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Vice Chancellor Don University Prof. Surakha Dangwal, Director Homeopathic Dr. J.L. Permal, Dr. Ramji Singh, Dr. Nitish Dubey, Dr. Jaswant Patil and the physicians related to homeopathy were present.
