Uttar Pradesh / Mirzapur: The marriage took place in a mass marriage plan, the bride took the goods received as a gift, the in-laws refused to come, the groom kept wandering

After getting married in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh, a bride refused to go to her in-laws house. The bridegroom is very upset after being rejected by the bride. In this matter, a complaint has been lodged by the groom and his family with the Mirzapur District Magistrate. The groom says that after the marriage is over, the bride does not want to come to her in-laws house, so she should be given farewell. For the investigation of the matter, Mirzapur District Magistrate Divya Mittal has directed Block Development Officer of Lalganj Block Sanjay Srivastava to investigate and take necessary action.
Actually, a young man resident of Dhasda village of Lalganj development block of Mirzapur district was married to a girl from Mirzapur district under the mass marriage scheme. The young man alleges that the bride and her family were very happy during the marriage in the mass marriage scheme. After getting married, the bride went to her maternal home with all the items received as a gift. After going to the bride’s maternal home, now when it is being talked about to bid her farewell, the bride is refusing to come to her in-laws house. Distressed by this, a complaint was made to the District Magistrate by the aggrieved groom during the Sampoorna Samadhan Divas.
After the complaint by the groom, District Magistrate Mirzapur Divya Mittal has directed Block Development Officer of Lalganj Development Block, Sanjay Srivastava to investigate and take necessary action. The groom is very upset due to the absence of the bride’s farewell. He says that even after taking advantage of the government scheme, the bride’s relatives are not giving her farewell. He also says that if the farewell is not done, he will file a case. On the other hand, people are discussing about the issue of refusal of marriage by the bride after getting married in mass marriage schemes.
