Auraiya police have recovered the looted silver from the residence of the SHO of Bhoganipur police station in Kanpur Dehat, in the case of robbery of silver from a trader by a constable and a constable on the Bundelkhand Expressway in Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh. In fact, on the Bundelkhand Expressway passing through Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh, a businessman coming from Banda to Auraiya was stopped late on June 7 by a khaki-clad constable and a constable in the name of vehicle checking. During checking, two bags filled with silver were found in the vehicle. After which the police along with the driver disappeared from there with those bags. After dropping the driver near Bhaupur village located on the National Highway of Sadar Auraiya Kotwali area, the police went towards Kanpur countryside. “On June 6, we were going to Agra on Bundelkhand Expressway with my maternal uncle’s son, sister-in-law, her daughter and our driver. Near Auraiya 245 number cut, two policemen gave us a hand and stopped our car by pointing a gun. He checked the entire vehicle and during checking he found two bags in the vehicle for which he asked for the bill. When we wanted to show the bill, they snatched our phone and that of everyone in the car with us. After that they took our driver along. There was 50 kg of silver in those bags.

What did the police tell?
One of the two more accused caught in this incident is Sanjay Chikwa alias Sanjay Topi, who used to work at the shop of the victim businessman 8 months ago. Sanjay used to know all the activities of Manish. To execute this incident, accused Manish took the help of his accomplice Jamaluddin. Bhoganipur police station chief Ajay Pal Katheria, who has also been posted in Jhansi in the past. That’s why Inspector Ajay Pal had a good relationship with the accused Jamaluddin. Sanjay Chikwa and Jamaluddin executed this incident in a planned manner along with Bhognipur police station chief Ajay Pal. 50 kg silver, 1 four wheeler, 2 pistols have also been recovered from the 6 arrested accused.
On the other hand, according to Auraiya Superintendent of Police, the main accused is Bhoganipur police station chief Ajay Pal Katheria, who executed the incident in a planned manner. Auraiya SP told that an incident took place on June 6 around 2 pm. Pillar 244-245 falls on Bundelkhand Expressway which comes in the area of Auraiya. I came to know about this incident. After this, the incident has been unveiled by forming SOG cyber and police station teams and taking major action within 48 hours on the basis of CCTV and informer’s information. Two accused Gajju and Tajuddin are still absconding.
