Maharashtra / Thane: On taking action without notice, the woman MLA first narrated the lies and then thrashed the engineer fiercely.
A video of a woman MLA from Thane district in Maharashtra publicly slapping a corporation engineer has gone viral on social media. In the viral video, Mira-Bhayander MLA Geeta Jain can be heard abusing two engineers of the local municipal corporation for demolishing some construction work. Due to the action of the engineers against the construction works, the occupants including the children were forced to live on the streets before the monsoon.

Jain questioned how the engineers could demolish the structures and the MLA asked them to submit a Government Resolution (GR). Jain’s response could not be obtained in this matter. At the same time, an attempt was made to contact Corporation Commissioner Dilip Dhole, but he could not be contacted. Jain, a former BJP mayor, had won the 2019 election as an independent. She supports the BJP-Shiv Sena government.
