Uttarakhand: CM Dhami participated in the mass yoga program from Jageshwar, gifted many schemes to Almora… inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of many schemes

On the occasion of 9th International Yoga Day, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the mass yoga program by participating in the state level yoga program organized at Jageshwar. Yoga instructor Dr. Manju Upadhyay made all the yoga seekers do various asanas of yoga. During this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami wished all the people of the state on International Yoga Day. During this, he said that Jageshwar Dham, which has been the center of faith of sages and common people since ancient times, is the most important stop on the spiritual journey of Devbhoomi. This land has such a power which has been infusing a new energy among people for centuries. He said that today I got the opportunity to bow my head at the feet of Baba Jageshwar, it is a matter of good fortune for me. He said that for us yoga is not an act of worship but an ancient heritage in the form of knowledge. It is said that yoga is a set of these five areas physical, mental, spiritual, religious and cultural. He said that while on one hand diseases are controlled by yoga, on the other hand they are also summoned. He said that yoga is zero budget health insurance.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that today, under the leadership of Prime Minister and great yoga seeker Narendra Modi, yoga has reached the whole world, it is a matter of pride for India and Indians. He said that today our temples, pilgrimage places and ancient Sanatan culture are being promoted under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that following the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is also determined to rebuild religious places in Uttarakhand and save our cultural uniqueness. Said that in this direction, we are moving forward in the direction of making “Manaskhand Corridor” in Kumaon like Kedarkhand of Garhwal, under which almost all the ancient temples of Kumaon region will be developed.

The Chief Minister said that Antyodaya families should be given three gas cylinders, 30 percent horizontal reservation system should be implemented for the women of the state, uniform civil code should be drafted, a law should be made to stop forced conversions, new Be it implementing education policy, formulating new sports policy, implementing strict anti-copying law, giving 10 percent horizontal reservation in government jobs to state agitators and their dependents, or taking decisive action against land encroachment, as well as scholarship. Be it the decision taken, the government has shown its clear stand in all these. The Chief Minister said that we have done all these difficult but necessary works for the state in a very short time. Said that for us the interests of the state and the state are paramount. During this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami laid the foundation stone of various schemes worth Rs 3381.96 lakh and inaugurated schemes worth Rs 2077.96 lakh.

Foundation stone

Under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, the foundation stone of 2698 lakh schemes was laid in Almora district and under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme, the foundation stone of 683.99 lakh structures and schemes was laid for the promotion of traditional water sources and water conservation.

Launch

Under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Yojana 2.0, Almora district, structures and works worth Rs 769 lakh were dedicated for promotion and protection of traditional water sources. Along with this, under the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme, the Chief Minister also inaugurated structures and works worth Rs 1308.96 lakh for the promotion of traditional water sources and water conservation in Almora.

During this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also made the following announcements for various works in the district:

  1. Tehsil building will be constructed in Lamgada under Jageshwar assembly.
  2. Asphalt work will be done on old Jageshwar Koteshwar motor road.
  3. The Pethshal-Bhetadangi-Bamanswal motorway will be asphalted.
  4. The work of cutting and asphalting of Dol-Shaharfatak-Bhabu Basgaon road will be done.
  5. Construction work of Birad Lwali motorway will be done from Basgaon.
  6. State UMass Girls School Manya Dungra will be named after freedom fighter Raghuvar Dutt Joshi.
  7. Motor road will be constructed from Shaukiyathal to Jata Ganga via Lachnakhali.
  8. The Chief Minister also announced the recognition of Biology Department in Gandhi Inter College Panuwanaula.

After participating in the yoga program, the Chief Minister offered prayers at Jageshwar Dham and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. After that, the Chief Minister also distributed Prasad and received Prasad in the Bhandara organized by the owner of Juna Akhara, Yatindra Giri, at the Bhandara site in Jageshwar.
