Uttarakhand: Members of BKU (apolitical) met CM Dhami, said – Government is making continuous efforts to increase the income of farmers

Members of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (apolitical) met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday (June 29, 2023) at the Chief Minister’s camp office. The delegation appreciated Chief Minister Dhami for the effective efforts being made by the state government to increase the income of the farmers. On this occasion, CM Dhami said that the government is making continuous efforts to increase the income of the farmers.

During the meeting with the delegation, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that decisions are being taken by the government keeping in mind all the interests of the farmers. He said that the needs of the farmers would be fulfilled soon. During this, the members of the farmers’ delegation said that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Dhami is doing commendable work for the welfare of the farmers.
CM Dhami said that the income of farmers is increasing rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. More emphasis is being laid on science and technology based agriculture. Natural and organic farming is being promoted. Natural farming is also being promoted rapidly in the state. Many schemes are being run by the state government to promote agriculture and horticulture. He said that there are many possibilities in the field of natural agriculture in the state.
On this occasion, delegation of Bharatiya Kisan Union including Rajendra Singh Malik, Ashok Balyan, Salvendra Singh Kalsi, Dharmendra Malik and other representatives were present. During this, the delegation kept its views and also apprised CM Dhami about the problems being faced by the farmers.
