West Bengal : People of a particular community stripped the female teacher by entering the office, FIR on 35
In West Bengal’s Dakshin Dinajpur, a female teacher was stripped naked and thrashed by members of a particular community for scolding a girl child. Angry people entered the school and started beating. There was a ruckus for a long time. The police have registered an FIR against 35 people, while 4 people have been arrested.
It is being told that the student belongs to the minority community. The incident is being told of Trimohini Pratap Chandra High School in Hili police station area, where the girl student studies in class 9. It has been learned that three days ago in the school, the teacher had scolded the girl for something.
The next day the girl’s family members entered the school along with some of their friends. Misbehaved with the teacher. On protesting, the woman was stripped naked and beaten up fiercely. Action has been taken on the complaint.
Demonstration against teacher’s beating
As soon as the information about the matter was received, the police force immediately reached the spot and got the matter pacified. Due to the misbehavior with the female teacher, anger was seen among the local people. People protested by blocking the road. Demanded action against the culprits.
In this case, the victim female teacher said that to keep the student in discipline, she was scolded by pulling her ear. Such an incident has never happened to me before. I am scared now.
BJP MP raised questions on police
BJP MP Sukanta Majumdar visited the area concerned on Sunday. He has demanded the strictest action against those who assaulted and assaulted the female teacher.
Majumdar said, ‘I was also a teacher. Many students have also been scolded. To a teacher, a student is his only. Here the hijab comes off as soon as it catches the teacher’s ear. That’s what happened. Due to such a trivial matter, his family and other two hundred people attacked the school.
I am surprised that the school principal did not file the report. The police did not dare to register a case. When people protested and blocked the road, then the police became active.
