Then hearing the cry of the girl, her father Rambaksh reached the spot and fought with the leopard to save the girl.
The girl’s father clashed with the dreaded leopard
After this, there was a struggle between the leopard and the child’s father for a long time and then after hearing the noise of the people, the leopard left its prey on the spot and ran towards the forest. The girl has suffered serious neck injuries in the leopard attack. The father has also suffered minor injuries. The forest department has given an assistance of Rs 10,000 to the girl’s father.
How did the father and the leopard come face to face?

The girl’s father further said that when I reached the courtyard after running, I saw that the leopard was holding the daughter in its mouth. I jumped on the leopard without thinking anything. After this he fought with the leopard and snatched his daughter from its mouth. After this the leopard attacked me too. Meanwhile, I somehow picked up the stick kept nearby and started killing the leopard.
He further told that the leopard attacked him several times in the encounter, but he did not get scared. For about 5 minutes the leopard kept attacking him like this and he kept defending himself. After this the leopard itself ran towards the forest. Then he and his wife reached Mihinpurwa Community Health Center with their daughter. Got my daughter and myself treated there.
On getting information about the incident, the jurisdictional officer SK Tiwari also reached the spot. He inquired about the health of the girl child.
