Voters set ballot boxes on fire in Coochbehar
Voters allegedly set ablaze a ballot box at a polling booth in Baranchina of Dinhata in Coochbehar district, angry over bogus voting. The video of this has also surfaced.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said this about the election
On West Bengal Panchayat elections, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, ‘The entire system in West Bengal is engaged in unconstitutional works. The government there neither respects the order of the Governor nor the order of the High Court. When the local police and administration themselves become biased and act politically, then it is not called a constitutional system. There is no place for violence in a democracy, but the government there has lost its mass base and in this fear they are adopting violent tendencies.
