Madhya Pradesh / Katni: Officials accused of land grab, shown dead as alive! Now the person is stumbling to prove himself alive

In Vijayraghavgarh Assembly of Katni district, a case of grabbing of valuable land by declaring alive tribal Ratia Kol as dead has come to the fore. MLA Sanjay Pathak has spoken about getting justice to the aggrieved tribals after the matter came to notice. According to the information, to grab the valuable land of Ratia Kol, a resident of Kalhara village, the officers and employees together executed a strange feat. First, old Ratia Kol was declared dead in 1998 by putting papers of dead Ratia Bai as a living person, then proved her 0.55 hectare land as useless.
At the same time, now the living person is wandering from door to door to prove himself alive. The case may sound like a film, but this entire episode is of Ratia Kol of Vijayraghavgarh. When he got tired of running around the officers, he went to the local MLA Sanjay Pathak. After listening to the victim Ratia Kol, MLA Pathak was also stunned for a moment as to how someone could do such forgery to grab the land of the poor.
About one and a half acres of Ratia Kol’s land, which is adjacent to the main road, is currently worth crores, which was offered by the then Patwari Ramlal Kol in the name of one of his relatives. Even before the victim Ratia raised any objection, the then Tehsildar Neha Jain and Patwari together made Ratia Kol a fake sejhra by showing her the death certificate.
After listening to Ratia Kol, MLA Sanjay Pathak considered the role of the then Tehsildar and Patwari, who were involved in the administration as suspicious, and assured her of justice by putting an end to the forgery with the victim Ratia. MLA Sanjay Pathak says that declaring Ratia Kol dead and grabbing her land will discuss with the SP and the Collector about registering an FIR and taking strict action against other people including the officers and employees.
