Uttarakhand: The in-charge on disaster relief management patted Dhami’s back, said – Congressmen are worried about saving the party and BJP is worried about the people of the state

BJP state in-charge Dushyant Kumar has expressed satisfaction while patting Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for better management in disaster relief works and said that help will be provided to every citizen affected by the disaster in Uttarakhand. Talking to reporters at the BJP headquarters, he said that it is heartening that the state government along with the organization is working on a war footing to reach out to each and every victim. The state in-charge taunted the Delhi meeting of the Congress that they are worried about saving the Congress and we are worried about saving the citizens of Uttarakhand. Congress demands relief in disaster and runs away to Delhi to remove its disaster. He has nothing to do with public concerns.

Dushyant Kumar Gautam, who arrived at the party headquarters to take the necessary meeting to take feedback regarding the disaster and prepare a strategy for relief works, answered the questions of the media on various subjects. He said that with the initial assistance of Rs 413 crore from the Centre, the Dhami government would provide proper help to all the disaster affected people. The in-charge assured that under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, our government is committed to provide all possible help to the disaster affected people. All kinds of problems related to their health, food, shelter, transport etc. will be solved on priority. Some problems come to the fore after a short time, that too will be implemented by making a strategy. He assured all the people of the state that there is no need to worry. We are able to overcome every difficulty due to the ability of the central and state government and the courage of the workers.

He told that the party is going to make a special program to provide all government and non-government facilities to the people of the disaster affected areas. For the last 10 days, he is in continuous contact with the Chief Minister, State President and the organization regarding the disaster and tomorrow we will discuss the disaster with all the MLAs through a virtual meeting.

Responding to the questions asked about Congress’s demand for Delhi meeting and more disaster relief package, the state in-charge said, for them demanding disaster amount is a political gimmick and they demand package just to be in the limelight. And run away to Delhi to remove his political disaster. He said, this is the difference between BJP and Congress, they are talking about saving Congress, we are talking about saving the citizens of Uttarakhand.

In response to the questions asked by the media regarding cabinet expansion, he made it clear that our full attention is currently focused on the disaster and the priority is to provide relief to the public. All other important matters will be discussed at the appropriate time. In response to the question asked about UCC, he said that it is going for the convenience, cooperation and nation building of the public. We are considering this issue seriously and the state will be the first state to implement it. Expressing satisfaction over the programs organized in the state regarding the recently concluded mass public relations campaign, Gautam said that in the review so far, Uttarakhand is among the states which have done the best work regarding this campaign.
