A strange case has come to light in Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh. Where a farmer of Tirva region took his injured buffalo to the police station to get justice. The victim first complained to the local police about the beating of his buffalo. When no one listened to his complaint, the aggrieved farmer took his buffalo as a proof and reached the police station. The victim farmer tied his buffalo in the Kotwali premises itself. The victim also showed the injury marks on the buffalo’s body to the police. Seeing the blood coming out of the body of his buffalo, the farmer wept bitterly. Told the whole problem to the police. This whole matter is related to Aher village of Tirva area. Where Santosh’s buffalo went to a field by a young man named Vinay from the village itself. The buffalo in the field ate some of the maize crop. After this, the angry farm owner tied the buffalo and beat it fiercely with sticks and pointed wires. Due to this the buffalo was badly injured.
Policemen’s behavior with the victim farmer is not right
When Santosh came to know all this, he rescued his buffalo and brought it. Reported the matter to the local police. When the police did not take any action in the matter, the victim farmer took his buffalo to the police station as evidence. The buffalo was tied there. Along with Santosh, the policemen did not even treat him properly. Due to this, seeing the blood of his buffalo, he started crying bitterly there. He started telling everyone about his past. The victim farmer and his wife told that the buffalo had eaten some maize crop from Vinay’s field. Because of this, Vinay tied the buffalo there with barbed iron wires and beat it fiercely with sticks.
Policemen called for photo of injured buffalo
When people complained about this to the police, no one listened. Because of this, the victim’s family took the buffalo to the police station. The victim also alleged that where he had complained earlier, he had said that if you bring a photo of the buffalo, we will accept it. After that he took the buffalo himself and not the photo of the buffalo, but went to the police station. Along with this, he told that due to being mercilessly beaten, blood is coming out from many places of the buffalo’s body. The domineering youth of the village is now threatening the police for complaining. Also he said that if this matter is more then it will not be good for you people.
