Uttar Pradesh: PCS officer Jyoti Maurya’s bank accounts report summoned, allegations of illegal transactions worth Rs 33 crore

In the case of illegal transaction against PCS officer Jyoti Maurya, the investigation committee has intensified the investigation. ADM Administration Harshdev Pandey, who was included in the committee, started the investigation in Lucknow on Thursday. On the other hand, details of six bank accounts of Jyoti have been sought. Jyoti and her husband Alok Maurya have been summoned to record their statement by sending a notice.

Evidence has also been sought from Alok regarding the allegations. Instructions have been given by the government to complete the investigation in 15 days and submit the report. Alok has accused Jyoti of abusing her position and earning huge money. At the government level, the appointment department handed over the investigation in the matter to Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant. The Divisional Commissioner has constituted a committee of ADM Administration Harshdev Pandey, ACM I Jaijit Kaur under the chairmanship of Additional Commissioner Administration Amrutlal Bind.

Departmental people will be questioned
Alok’s complaint was studied in the committee meeting. Along with the complaint letter, Alok has also attached the photostat of 32 pages of the diary in which the transaction is mentioned. A total transaction of Rs 33 crore is mentioned on these pages. In this meeting, the direction of the investigation was decided and a strategy was chalked out for speedy investigation. Under the same strategy, the ADM administration left for Lucknow on Thursday morning itself. There he collected many documents from the offices of many departments and interrogated some departmental people.

Details were sought from the hotels where Jyoti and Manish stayed
The ADM administration also gathered information about the suspended Home Guard Commandant Manish Dubey in Lucknow. In the evening, details were also called from four hotels, in which Jyoti and Manish had stayed a few months back. On the other hand, the committee has sent a notice to Alok and Jyoti and called them to Prayagraj to record their statement. The committee said in the notice that along with recording the statement, they should also present evidence of the allegations and claims. Additional Commissioner Administration says that the writing of the diary will be investigated separately. The information of calling the PCS officer will not be made public, otherwise the investigation may be affected.

Alok has given a written complaint to the government that Jyoti has done corruption on a large scale. All transactions are in a diary. Jyoti, a resident of Varanasi, was also posted in Prayagraj and Kaushambi. Presently he is posted in Bareilly. Her husband Alok is a resident of Rajrooppur in Prayagraj.

In any case, the investigation of this episode has to be completed within 15 days. The inquiry committee has been alerted about this. That is why the committee has started a rapid investigation. The investigation is being monitored.
