A very sensational incident has come to the fore in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. Here a step mother strangled a three-year-old innocent girl to death just for a biscuit. After committing the murder, she told her husband that the girl was bitten by an animal, due to which she died. And when the husband came home and strictly questioned the wife, then the matter came to light. The accused stepmother told that the girl was insisting on eating biscuits. Due to which he was strangled to death. Now on the complaint of the victim’s father, the body of the deceased is being exhumed from the grave on the orders of the magistrate and the post-mortem of the dead body is being done.
Police sent dead body for postmortem
The case pertains to Lauki village of Risia police station area. Kajal, the three-year-old innocent daughter of Awadhesh Kumar, a resident of Jahan, had died under suspicious circumstances. The step mother had told about the death due to cat bite. Alleging that she was strangulated, the father of the deceased demanded a post-mortem of the dead body. On which, on the orders of the Magistrate, the police removed the dead body from the grave and sent it for postmortem.
First wife died a few years ago
Please inform that the first wife of Awadhesh Kumar, a resident of Lauki village of Thana Risia area, had died a few years ago. Awadhesh had a 3-year-old daughter, Kajal, from his first wife. After the death of his wife, Awadhesh got married for the second time. After this Awadhesh had gone to Delhi for wages. Kajal died on July 23 under suspicious circumstances. Awadhesh’s second wife told Kajal’s death due to animal bite and buried the dead body. When the father came home on July 27 after the daughter’s death, he strictly questioned his second wife ‘Sheenu’, then the wife told the truth. Told that Kajal was asking for more biscuits, for which she was strangled to death.
On this, the victim gave a complaint letter to the DM and the SP and demanded that the post-mortem of the dead body be done. On the instructions of the DM, the dead body of the innocent was removed from the grave. Inspector-in-charge Shailesh Kumar Singh told that the dead body was exhumed from the grave between Naib Tehsildar and the team of doctors of Community Health Center. After this it has been sent for postmortem. He told that further action will be taken after the post mortem report. Innocent Kajal’s father Awadhesh told that on the night of 23 July, his daughter demanded biscuits from her step mother. After this, she started insisting for biscuits, on which her step mother strangled the daughter. After the death, the rumor of cat bite spread in the village.
