Uttar Pradesh / Kanpur: A student going to take admission in IIT conspired to kidnap herself, married her lover, demanded 10 lakhs from her father
A surprising revelation has come to light in the case of a girl student who was kidnapped three days ago in Kanpur. The girl was not kidnapped. Rather, he made up the story of fake kidnapping for money. According to the information, student Hansika Verma had passed the engineering entrance exam. He had to go to Roorkee’s Engineering College (IIT Roorkee) to get admission. But on Thursday evening she suddenly came out of her house and disappeared. After that a WhatsApp video message came on her father’s mobile in which Hansika was seen tied with ropes. By sending the video, a ransom of Rs 10 lakh was demanded from Hansika’s father. Hansika’s father immediately informed the police about this. After which the investigation started. But as soon as the reality of this kidnapping came to the fore, everyone was shocked.

Kanpur’s Joint Police Commissioner Anand Prakash Tiwari has arrested the student and her lover Raj Singh. Both have been recovered by the special team of police in Basti. The special thing is that a marriage certificate of Hansika and Raj Singh has also been recovered from them. Raj and Hansika had registered their marriage on May 22 itself.

The police commissioner says that the police team has taken both of them from Basti to Kanpur. Now further action will be taken in this matter. He told that Raj Singh, the lover of the girl student, lives in her locality. Both had become friends on Instagram. After this the affair started between the two. Both of them got married on 22 May. But now that marriage certificate will also be examined.
