The video of Naib Tehsildar slapping a girl student who had come to get possession of land in Varanasi district has gone viral on social media. After slapping the student, people got angry and the team that reached there had to return. It is being told that the student had asked for a copy of the order from the Naib Tehsildar. After that Naib Tehsildar started talking in English. The girl student was also educated and while talking to her in English only, asked her to show the copy of the order. The new Tehsildar got angry about this.

This whole matter pertains to Bhishampur village under Kapsethi police station area of Varanasi district. The population of the village is recorded in the official document of Arazi number 593. It is being told that many people of the village have been living on the land for a long time after building houses. Arazi No. 610, located next to the population, has land owned by a person named Sanjay Singh, a resident of the village. In this case, a wards has been filed in the High Court by Sanjay Singh and Sunil Singh. Naib Tehsildar Prachi Kesarwani along with the police team had reached the village on Tuesday in compliance with the order of the court.
Apart from Kapsethi police station, the police of Mirzapur police station were also present on the spot. The villagers were asked by the officers present to remove the encroachment. During this, a large number of men and women reached there and started protesting. Meanwhile, a student of Intermediate also reached there. A copy of the order was sought by the student from Naib Tehsildar Prachi Kesarwani. The villagers say that in the meantime there was a heated argument between the student and the Naib Tehsildar and then the Naib Tehsildar became enraged and slapped the student.
During this, the people present there were making videos in mobile and this whole incident got captured in mobile. Seeing the incident of slapping the student, the villagers present there got angry and chased the Naib Tehsildar. After that, the police team took the Naib Tehsildar under the security cordon and reached the car. Due to heavy opposition from the villagers, the team had to return. The video of slapping the student went viral on social media on Wednesday. Because the matter pertains to the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, people started raising questions. In this regard, Naib Tehsildar says that the video which is going viral is half incomplete. He also said that before this the people of the village misbehaved with him and climbed on his car. In the same case, there has been talk of getting the matter investigated by SDM Rajatalab.
