Uttarakhand: Mahendra Bhatt claims that with the victory of record votes in Bageshwar, people will pay tribute to Chandan Ram Das

Giving final shape to the preparations for the Bageshwar by-election, the BJP is sending a panel of three names to the Central Parliament Board for candidate selection. On the lines of Champawat by-election, the party has expressed confidence of winning here also with a record number of votes. Along with this, people will pay tribute to their beloved leader late Chandan Ram Das, rejecting the negative politics of Congress.

Talking to the media, State President Mahendra Bhatt said that the party has been preparing for this by-election for two months. From the organizational point of view, meetings at Shakti Kendra and booth level, Chief Minister Dhami’s programs and state office bearers’ stay have already been completed there. As part of the process of candidate selection, the Vidhansabha Election Management Team discussed the names of the possible contenders and handed them over to the State Parliament Board. On which a panel of three names is being sent to the Central Parliamentary Board after detailed discussion on all aspects. Regarding the nomination, he told that soon after the name is decided by the center, the date of nomination will be announced.

In response to a question about the party’s strategy, Bhatt said that on the lines of the Champawat by-election, we are going to win the election in Bageshwar with more record votes than before. Taking a dig at Congress fighting elections with vigor, he said that they have always fought elections with full force and have also been defeated. Expressing confidence, he said that this time also people will pay tribute to their popular ex-MLA late Chandan Ram Das rejecting the negative politics of Congress.
