According to the information received, twelve gates of the dam have been opened up to a height of three feet due to the increase in the inflow of water in the dam. The administration has issued an alert for the people living in the low-lying areas of the Parvati river due to the release of a large amount of water from the dam. The inflow of water into the Parvati dam is continuously threatening the villages in the low-lying areas of Sampau and Basedi.
