Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Memorandum submitted to HRDA Secretary on the problems of illegal construction and parking

New Haridwar Chandraacharya Chowk Vyapar Mandal (Gulati) met HRDA Secretary Lalit Narayan Mishra and submitted a memorandum to him regarding illegal commercial construction and parking problem. Traders said that if action is not taken by curbing these illegal constructions soon, then the traders will be forced to gherao the officials. Giving assurance to the traders, Secretary Lalit Narayan Mishra instructed the subordinates to take action to solve the problem of illegal construction and parking. Chairman Mridul Kaushik said that due to illegal commercial buildings already in the area of Chandracharya Chowk, the problem of parking has become a nuisance, due to which the challans of the traders along with the customers coming to the area are deducted by the police administration. Due to the parking problem, customers are also hesitant to come to the area now. Which has a direct impact on the business. Vyapar Mandal Vice President Anoop Sidhu said that the parking of illegal commercial constructions which have taken place in the past has either been sold or is being used for other works. Which is the responsibility of Haridwar Development Authority. How were the maps of such constructions approved and later why action was not taken on non-construction of parking. General Secretary Deepak Aggarwal said that the traders and common people residing in the houses around these illegal constructions are also facing a lot of trouble. Haider Naqvi, Sandeep Kaushik, Keshav Arora, Sushil Kumar, Bablu Singh, Satnam Bhatia, Surendra Agarwal, Prem Thapa, Sanjeev Sharma, Sanjay Dwivedi, Vikram Sidhu, Rajan Kumar, Sandeep Khurana, Abhishek Khanna, Pankaj Saini, Shekhar were among those who submitted the memorandum.
