West Bengal: The assistant registrar of the High Court fainted while writing the order to remove the Shivling? The judge immediately changed the order!

Proceedings were going on in the Calcutta High Court, where the lawyers of both the parties were giving arguments on behalf of their clients in the case related to the land dispute. Justice Joy Sengupta, after hearing the arguments of both the lawyers, ordered the removal of the Shivling installed on the disputed land. However, what happened after this surprised everyone. According to media reports, while recording the judgment of Justice Sengupta, the assistant registrar of the court suddenly fainted. The judge was also surprised to see his condition and surprisingly retreated from his decision. Justice Sengupta said that the High Court would not interfere in the matter and the petitioners should approach the lower court.
What was this land dispute?
According to the information received, a dispute has been going on for a long time between Govind Mandal of Khidirpur in Murshidabad district of West Bengal and Sudeep Pal over a piece of land. In May last year, the matter heated up when both the sides resorted to violence against each other. It is alleged that after this clash, Govind Mandal secretly placed a Shivling on that land overnight. Sudeep Pal lodged a complaint in this regard in the nearest police station, but due to civil matter, the police also did not take any special action on it. In such a situation, Sudeep Pal approached the Calcutta High Court. During the court proceedings, Sudip Pal’s counsel argued that Govind Mandal had illegally placed the Shivling on the disputed land, and the court’s intervention was necessitated due to the police’s inaction.
Uproar in the courtroom
In response, Govind Mandal’s lawyer insisted that his client had not placed any Shivling on the ground and that religious symbol had emerged from the ground on its own. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, Justice Sengupta gave his verdict and directed to remove the Shivling present on the disputed land. However, as the assistant registrar was recording his decision, he suddenly fainted, causing an uproar in the courtroom. After this, Justice Sengupta also changed his decision and said that the High Court will not interfere in this matter and the matter should be proceeded as a civil case through the lower court.
