Uttar Pradesh / Moradabad: They kept firing in the middle of the road, a horrifying video surfaced of the murder of a BJP leader.
A BJP leader has been shot dead in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. The BJP leader was walking outside the apartment at the time of the incident. The bike-riding attackers arrived and opened fire quickly. This whole incident has been captured in CCTV camera. Police has registered an FIR against the four accused.
The case is of Majhola police station area. Here, BJP leader Anuj Chaudhary lives with his family in Parshwanath Pratibha Apartment on Delhi Road. He went out for a walk in the park with his brother at 5 pm on Thursday. At the same time three bike-borne assailants came and shot. Anuj fell down. The attackers fired till they became breathless. There are 3 bullets in his body. Four empty cartridges have been found from the spot.
The people around admitted Anuj to a private hospital, where he was declared brought dead. On getting the information, the police reached the spot and inquired about the incident. The family has lodged an FIR against 4 people including Asmoli block chief’s husband Prabhakar, son Aniket.

Contested the election of block chief from Asmoli
The family has alleged that the murder was done due to electoral enmity. Anuj was the leader of BJP Kisan Morcha. He contested the block chief election in 2021 from Asmoli in Sambhal. Since then there was mutual enmity. The incident was captured in a camera installed nearby. The SSP said that 5 teams have been formed to nab the attackers.

Moradabad firing incident once again reminded the incident of Prayagraj. The CCTV of that incident also went viral very fast, which horrified everyone. According to the family, Anuj Chaudhary’s electoral rivalry was going on since he contested the block chief’s election. At that time Anuj lost the election by 10 votes. Since then their dispute was going on. Anuj had started preparing for a no-confidence motion against the current block chief (Asmoli).

SSP Hemraj Meena told that investigation has revealed that some people came and shot Anuj from behind. He had bullet injuries in his head and shoulder. Dead body has been sent for postmortem. Teams have been formed to arrest the accused. Forensic team and our other teams have been deployed.

Prima facie it has come to light that Anuj had a dispute with many people earlier. One of them is also of Mohit Chowdhary. He is currently lodged in jail. His brother Amit Chaudhary has been nominated. The second accused is Aniket, who is the son of the current block chief. In the 2021 elections, there was a dispute among themselves several times. The family has expressed apprehension.
