Activists of a Hindu outfit became agitated over the forced conversion of two Sikh girls in Srinagar’s Budgaon district. They demonstrated in the main market and demanded the harshest punishment against the culprits. On Monday, dozens of Hindu activists, led by Rashtriya Bajrang Dal activist Rajendra Kashyap, gathered in the main market in front of the Hazari Lal petrol pump. There was a strong demonstration in Kashmir against the forced conversion of two Sikh girls. During this, he raised slogans in support of the Sikh society. Addressing the activists, Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s provincial president Dr. RK Mahajan said the forced conversion of two Sikh girls in Kashmir reminded them of 1990 when three lakh Hindus and Sikhs had to leave their homeland Kashmir, those people still live in other parts of the country. They are living in exile in parts, they called upon the Hindus to unite and told the Hindus to fight such witchcrafts firmly. A large number of activists including Vikram Mandal, Ravindra Vishwas, Jitendra Kashyap, Nishant Single Dhruv Chawla, Amit Dhingra, Om Prakash Saini, Dharampal Singh, Rahul Kumar, Sonu Rawat, Vijay Kumar, Ashok Kumar Vasudev were present on the occasion.
