Kharge said – next year PM Modi will hoist the tricolor from home, Hardeep Puri replied – get your eyes treated

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said on Tuesday (August 15) about not going to the Red Fort on the Independence Day celebrations, saying that he could not attend it due to some problem in his eyes. During this, Kharge attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that he will hoist the flag from his residence next year. BJP has retaliated on this.
Union minister and BJP leader Hardeep Singh Puri said, “Perhaps Kharge sahab has a problem in his eyes. He did not come to the Red Fort, but the family members have gone to some program. We have to say that PM Modi will again address the people of the country from the Red Fort next year.
Actually the Lok Sabha elections are going to be held next year. In such a situation, if the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) gets a majority, then PM Modi will again address the people on the occasion of Independence Day from the Red Fort, but this will not happen if the opposition alliance ‘India’ wins.
What did Mallikarjun Kharge say?
According to news agency PTI, when asked about the reason for staying away from the Red Fort Independence Day programme, Kharge said, “I have some problem with the eyes. As per protocol, I was to hoist the flag at my residence in the morning. After this I had to hoist the flag at the Congress headquarters. ,
Kharge further said that ‘the security is so tight that no one is allowed to go before the Prime Minister leaves. If I had gone there, I would not have been able to attend the program here.” He also said in a message on Independence Day that the opposition alliance ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (India) will stand against injustice and win.
