UP Police constable and BDS student turned out to be smack smugglers, Uttarakhand Police arrested them with goods worth Rs. 2 crores

The biggest consignment of smack has been seized in the history of Uttarakhand Police, seeing which even the police were stunned. In Lalkuan of Nainital district, police have arrested three accused with one kilo 75 grams of smack. The three arrested accused are said to be residents of UP. One of the accused is a constable of UP Police.
Nainital SSP Prahlad Narayan Meena disclosed this matter. He said that a campaign against illegal drugs is being run across the district. Under this, a joint team of Lalkuan Kotwali Police and SOG was also checking the area. Then at Subhash Nagar check post, the police noticed three people riding a bike.
Nainital SSP Prahlad Narayan Meena said that when the police signaled the youth riding the bike to stop, they started running away to avoid stopping. However, the police did not allow him to escape and caught him there. When the police searched the three, more than one kilo of smack was recovered from them, whose value in the international market is said to be more than Rs 2 crore.
After this, the police took all three into custody and brought them to the police station, where the accused were interrogated. During interrogation, the accused named themselves Morpal, Arjun Pandey and Ravindra Singh. Accused Ravindra Singh is a constable in UP Police, who is currently posted in Bareilly district of UP. One accused is the son of a home guard and a BDS student.
Police said that the criminal history of the three accused is being investigated. During interrogation, the accused told that they have been doing this work for a long time in the greed of earning more money. Police is gathering information about where the accused had brought these smacks and where and to whom they were to supply them. So that action can be taken against them also.
