Uttarakhand / Luxor: When Swift car was not received in dowry, angry in-laws threw the married woman out of the house!
Angered by not getting a Swift car as dowry, her in-laws beat up the married woman and threw her out of the house. On the complaint of the married woman, the police have registered a case against the five accused including her husband. Sushma, a resident of Kabulpur Raighati village of Laksar Kotwali area, gave a complaint to the police and told that she was married on March 15, 2021 to a resident of Mithun, Nayagaon Maharajnagar police station, Bhopa district, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. Her relative had given more dowry in the marriage than she could afford. But the in-laws were not satisfied with this.
Within a few days of marriage, she started being harassed in various ways demanding a Swift car as dowry. When her demand was not met, her husband forcibly made her sit on a bike and left her at her parents’ house. She pleaded with her husband a lot. But he did not agree.
On the complaint of the married woman, the police have registered a case against her, Mithun’s mother-in-law Shashi, father-in-law Sohanveer, brother-in-law Satin and sister-in-law Lokendri. Kotwal Rajeev Routhan said that a case has been registered against the accused. The case is being investigated.
