Heavy rain in many states due to cyclone ‘Tej’, fishermen should not go to sea shore till 26th October
Due to the intensification of cyclone Tej, heavy rains are being seen in many states. There was also light drizzle at many places. On the other hand, there has been heavy rain in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal today.
The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain at different places in Tripura on October 24.
Cyclone will intensify and become dangerous in 6 hours
It is being told that Cyclone Tej is likely to cross the Yemen coast near Al Gaida by October 24. Cyclone Tej, which is forming in the south-west of the Arabian Sea, is very likely to move towards the north-west. It is likely to turn into an extremely cyclonic storm in the next 6 hours.
Fishermen should not go to the sea shore till 26th October
The Meteorological Department has advised fishermen not to venture into West Central Bay of Bengal till October 25 and North Bay of Bengal till October 26.
