Uttarakhand: Newly appointed Vice President Suresh Bhatt held a review meeting of the programs run under NHM, said that the people of the state should get quality health benefits.

Free treatment is being provided to patients in government hospitals. Hospitals are constantly being upgraded so that patients can get better treatment. Keeping every person in the society healthy and providing health facilities to all are among the priorities of our government. These things were said by Suresh Bhatt, the newly appointed Vice Chairman of the State Level National Rural Health and Monitoring Council, NHM. Said during the review meeting of all the programs run under it. He said that National Health Mission is an important link for public health services. In the review meeting, necessary guidelines were given to all the officers and personnel for successful implementation of national programs in the state.

In the first meeting held after Suresh Bhatt assumed the charge of Vice President, various national programs run in the state were reviewed. Honorable Vice President told that health services is a subject related to the sentiments of the common people, the editing of which becomes very necessary by the Central and State Government. He said that by joining the National Health Mission, Uttarakhand, I will work as an associate and I will work for N.H.M. Full support will be provided. During the presentation in the meeting, he went through all the programs run in the state in detail and gave appropriate directions to the concerned officers and personnel on implementing various public welfare policies on the ground.

Oath of integrity administered to officers and employees

Suresh Bhatt told that there is a need to do more work on important topics like TB eradication, maternal health, child health, prevention of non-communicable diseases etc. programs being run by the government, so that the people of the state can get quality health benefits. During the meeting, under the ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ conducted across the country, Hon. By Vice President N.H.M. Officers and employees were also given a pledge of integrity. He said that we all should work dedicatedly so that health services in the state become stronger.
