Uttar Pradesh: The constable had caught the criminal, FIR was not written in the police station, the constable went to the SP, when the Inspector reprimanded

In Basti district of Uttar Pradesh, a constable opened a front against his own police station. The constable has accused the police station officer of indecency and appealed to the SP for justice. The constable claims that he had arrested a person in the case of illegal liquor and brought him to the police station. But when asked about writing an FIR, the Inspector scolded the constable. Also humiliated him in front of everyone.

The victim constable says that on the information of the informer, he arrested a person with illicit liquor and brought him to the police station. But the head Moharrir of the police station did not file the case without a surety. The head inspector kept the accused sitting at the police station the whole night, waiting for the bailiff. When this was told to the Inspector, the Inspector instead tightened the reins on the constable.

Actually, the whole matter is of Cantonment police station where constable Shivkesh Kumar, posted there, gave an application to the SP and told that on November 7, on the basis of information received from an informer, he had caught a person with 5.5 liters of illegal raw liquor. Shivkesh says that when he wrote the fard and submitted it to the office, the head clerk told him not to file the case without a surety.

What allegations did the constable make?

According to Shivkesh, the head clerk kept the person arrested with illicit liquor sitting at the police station all night, waiting for the bailiff. When the SO was asked about why a case was not filed against him, instead of praising him, the SO started criticizing him. The Inspector got angry at his own constable. Due to which the constable was so hurt that he reached the SP office with a complaint against the inspector. He met the Superintendent of Police and complained in writing against SO Narayan Lal Srivastava posted at Cantonment police station.

SP gave instructions to file a case

After the complaint, there was a stir in the police department and after the intervention of the SP, a case was quickly registered against the illegal liquor dealer caught by the constable. At present, this matter has become a topic of discussion in the department.
