Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Fire breaks out in dhaba, goods worth lakhs burnt to ashes

On the occasion of Diwali, two shops in Tuni police station area caught fire. Due to the accident, the goods kept in both the shops were burnt to ashes. A loss of lakhs of rupees is being reported due to the accident.

Fire in wooden shed
The incident is being reported from Mori Gate Tuni on Sunday evening. According to the information received, police had received information late in the evening that a wooden dhaba had caught fire. After receiving information about the incident, the fire department team reached the spot. After hard work the fire brigade team brought the fire under control.

Goods kept in shops burnt to ashes
The fire engulfed two shops. Due to the fire, the goods kept in the shops were burnt to ashes. It is being told that a sudden fire broke out in the wooden dhaba. The cylinder kept in the shop also burst due to the fire. Luckily the shop was closed at the time of the accident. Due to which a major accident was averted.

Loss is said to be worth lakhs
The fire brigade team took out four burning gas cylinders kept in the dhaba. Due to which there was no loss of life due to the fire. The cause of the fire is not yet known. The police team is investigating the incident.
