Sad! Waited for 17 days for the boy trapped in the Silkyara tunnel, father died as soon as he came out

41 laborers trapped in the tunnel of Uttarkashi have now come out safely. His family was waiting for the arrival of these laborers for the last 17 days. When these laborers were released yesterday after 17 days of continuous efforts, everyone was happy. But among these 41 laborers, there was one laborer who lost his father’s presence after coming out. The name of this laborer is Bhatku Murmu. He was a resident of Singhbhum district of Jharkhand.

On the night of Tuesday 28th November, when Bhatku came out of the Silkyara tunnel safely, the news of his father’s death reached his ears. Bhatku Dhay started crying bitterly on the death of his father. He was trapped in the tunnel for the last 17 days and thought that when he comes out, he will meet his family and see his father. But destiny had some other plans. Apart from Bhattku, there were also 6 other laborers from Dumariya in Singhbhum district in the tunnel.

According to reports, 29-year-old Bhatku was a resident of Bahda village in Bankishil taluka of Singhbhum. His 70-year-old father was in Barsha Murmu village. Ever since they realized that the boy was stuck in the tunnel, they were worried. Yesterday morning, after having breakfast, he was waiting for the child to return safely to bed, when suddenly he fell from the bed and lost his life. Villagers say that Barsha Murmu took his life because of the memory of his son. Barsa Murmu’s son-in-law told that the father was desperate and worried ever since the child got trapped in the tunnel.
