Uttar Pradesh: Complainant climbed a tree due to not getting justice on Samadhan Diwas, was upset with Tehsil employees

On the occasion of Samadhan Diwas in Kasya tehsil of Kushinagar district, when a complainant did not get justice, he climbed a tree and after climbing, started making noise. On receiving the information about climbing the tree, the administrative officer of the Tehsil got upset and immediately sent the police station in-charge and started making efforts to get him down. When the complainant did not come down from the tree despite the efforts of the police station head, the Naib Tehsildar reached the spot and heard his demand.

As per the demand of the complainant, he was talking about getting caste certificate made for his two sisters who are married and have their own houses. Even after that, they are demanding to get Scheduled Tribe certificate made and their caste certificate of God community has been made under Scheduled Tribe. The complainant says that the Tehsil employees are not making certificates for our two sisters, we are being harassed. We are worried, even before this, former BJP leader Priyesh God had been sitting on a dharna in front of the District Social Welfare Department regarding the caste certificate. After sitting for several days, the Social Welfare Department official agreed to his demands and ended his protest.

During this dharna, he had performed a Yagya for purification of intellect and today again to prepare the caste certificate for the God community, he climbed a tree in the tehsil courtyard to prepare the caste certificate for his two sisters. And started demanding justice. Even after the Tehsildar and the police station chief understood, he did not agree. Then the police forcefully got him down from the tree and took him to the police station and started taking further action. While climbing the tree, there was an argument between the Naib Tehsildar and the complainant. Naib Tehsildar tried to explain. In this context, Sub-Collector Yogeshwar Singh says that the allegations being made by the complainant are baseless. Their caste certificate has been prepared in the past and pressure was being put on the officials by them which is baseless.
