Uttarakhand: CM Dhami reviewed the schemes and proposed programs run under Adarsh Champawat

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the schemes and proposed programs run under Adarsh Champawat at the Chief Minister Camp Office on Tuesday. He instructed District Magistrate Champawat that the work of expansion of the Circuit House located in Champawat should be done expeditiously. Special attention should be paid to quality in construction work. The Chief Minister said that mountain craftsmanship should be used along with inclusion of modernity in the expansion of the Circuit House. He said that District Magistrates play an important role in better construction works in the districts. For this, they will have to carefully monitor the work regularly. The Chief Minister said that along with a suitable place for public meeting, an auditorium should also be built in the Circuit House. Smooth roads should also be constructed for transportation.

The Chief Minister said that in order to make Champawat a big destination in the future, he directed the District Magistrate Champawat to prepare an effective action plan for developing a new township in Champawat. He said that work on Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission is going on at a fast pace. After this work, the number of devotees will increase rapidly in Champawat also. He instructed the District Magistrate that in view of the possibility of increase in the number of devotees in future, special attention should be paid towards expanding and strengthening the communication routes. The Chief Minister said that the work being done towards making Champawat a model district should be further expedited.

District Magistrate Champawat Navneet Pandey said that as per the Chief Minister’s announcement, 05 zones have been created by identifying land under the master plan in Champawat. In which an action plan related to the stadium, cultural theatre, Golju temple complex, multi-storey parking and approach road has been made. On this occasion, Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman and officials of District Administration Champawat were present.
