Uttarakhand: Development is possible only under the guidance of PM Modi and efficient leadership of CM Dhami, Chauhan said – Congress, which was distributing knowledge on investment, had become silent on the industrial package

BJP’s state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that whether it is investment in the state or economic management, Congress has not been sensitive about the state’s interests in any matter and now it is distributing knowledge about investment in the state.

Responding to Congress President Karan Mahara’s statement, Chauhan said that undoubtedly, every government has made efforts towards industrialization or promoting small scale industries, but Congress’s record in this has been negative. Today there is a double engine government in the state and the state is getting its benefits, but Congress has been merely opposing it. It is natural to feel respect and gratitude towards any government at the Center that comes forward to help the state, but Congress lacks such values. It is a happy coincidence for the state that PM Modi has a special attachment to the state and he has been giving gifts worth thousands of crores to the state on every visit. Due to its bitterness, Congress always answers questions in a spirit of opposition to Modi, which is unfair. The situation is such that some leaders of the responsible opposition are fasting silently while others are lecturing on questions which is inappropriate.

He said that when the industrial foundation was laid in the state, then during the tenure of Congress which is showing its achievements, the central BJP government gave a special package and industrial revolution took place in the state. But as soon as the Congress government came to power at the Centre, the industrial package was snatched away. This is the difference between having a Congress or BJP government at the centre. He said that investment will only lead to development and employment opportunities will increase, but Congress is seeing insecurity in this also.

The public does not trust Congress’s fabricated allegations and due to this, the public has shown it a mirror in those states where it had carried out similar propaganda. There has been a tradition of Atithi Dev Bhava in Devbhoomi and the way Central schemes worth more than 1.5 lakh are being run in the state, it is possible during the tenure of Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Instead of negative sentiments, Congress should come forward in the role of cooperative opposition in development works.
