Madhya Pradesh : Massive fire in Udhampur-Durg Express in MP’s Morena, bogies burnt
A fire broke out in 4 bogies of Udhampur-Durg Express near Hetampur Railway Station in Morena, Madhya Pradesh on Friday. According to Indian Railways, the fire started in A1 and A2 coaches of the train. It is a matter of relief that no one has died in this accident. All the passengers have been rescued.
Northern Central Railway CPRO Dr Shivam Sharma said, “A fire was reported in coaches A1 and A2 of Udhampur-Durg Express after it left Hetampur railway station. There is no information about any casualties. The passengers have been evacuated safely.

He further said that the front part of the train has been separated and the fire brigade has reached. This train has been stopped and all other trains are running on their schedule. 20848 Udhampur-Durg Express was going from Delhi to Durg in Chhattisgarh.
A person said, after some foul smell came inside the train, it was found that the coach has caught fire. Smoke was filling the coach. We told people to get down early. Then his luggage was unloaded. Meanwhile some people had fainted, a woman was taken out of the coach in a state of unconsciousness along with other companions.
